Cha-Bones Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Checked them out for dinner last night. First time there, will definitely be back if we want something that's not on the average menu in town. Menu had lots of different options. Had the blackened Halibut and it was amazing. And also the sausage and peppers pasta was also very good. Prompt and friendly service. If you're looking for something different in Havasu this is the place to go.

Bar and happy hour sucks. Nothing on tap. 2 stars because the restaurant is nice itself.

We went a group of 4 and all were very very satisfied. I had the blackened prime rib with cajun sauce. Propably the best i have ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Actually all the food was cooked to perfection. I think i have only given about 4 5 stars out they earned it. I can not image a bad meal from them.

Happy hour is my favorite here, I make a point to come here for dinner every time I'm in town! I've never eaten off the dinner menu because their appetizers are awesome!

Came here 2 days back to back. 1st time I got the special of the day (skirt steak) It was AWFUL! Tasted like beef jerky in a Subway hogie roll. Not worth $10.99 Service was outstanding! 2nd day had the Chicken Caesar Salad. Another AWFUL choice! The chicken was so dry I could hardly tell the difference between the croutons and the chicken? Service again was consistently good. This place looks like something out of Scottsdale. But don't let the good looks fool you. :-( Don't waist your time looking at the left side of the menu. Nothing appetizing there. I would recommend Mudsharks by a mile over the dump!

We vacation as a family from Seattle to Havasu every year and make a point of trying new local restaurants. We had heard about ChaBones and after reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. I'm not very picky at all but I wasn't too impressed by this place. Details to follow. Sorry 1. No reservations just "call ahead". Typically this doesnt bother me but its kind of a downer to show up and wait for table, given their prices/status. Decor is really nice and light with an open feeling about it. Nice bar with a few tv's but nothing tacky. Its done well. No complaints there. 2. Drinks. I cant speak about anything else but the pinot noir by glass wasnt very good at all for $9. I finished it before my dinner arrived and was asked if I wanted another but declined. The interesting part is that they did not pick up my empty glass. Its stayed there empty for my entire meal. Note to staff, you should clear anything like that throughout service. Its just part of good restaurant service. 3. Meal. I ordered the 10oz filet. med-rare w/ baked potato. It was cooked fine but man there was really nothing "amazing" about it what so ever. Very bland steak but for $40 I would definitely expect much much more. $40 is not Havasu pricing for that steak. Vegetables were this cut carrot cheap mess and the bake potato....well what do you want me to say? Its a baked potato. Hard to screw that up but nothing amazing to write home about. 4. Service. They are young and I would say inexperienced in better quality dining service but again, no huge complaints. They were all nice and I do believe, trying their best. What I would say to them is to try and stay a bit more connected with table at times to see what we need or to clear something away that is not needed. Just makes you feel better. 5. Desert. Family went crazy and ordered some chocolate thing, coconut pineapple cake and bananas fosters. The chocolate and coconut cake were ok but again, nothing incredible. I felt like they could have easily come from Costco. Bananas fosters was a joke really. 2 big globs of vanilla ice cream with a few bananas sliced up along with some caramel. Maybe I'm way too spoiled on fosters but I expected much more. That was a mess. Restaurant, lookup how to make a good one and test it. Yours doesnt stand up. In summary our family ChaBones dinner was "so-so" but everyone ate their meals and had no complaints so thats always a good thing. The big disappointment to me is maybe that I expected more than I got and this is especially true after I received my bill of $200. It is just not worth that much, period. We "may" try the happy hour and give the extensive appetizers list a try. Maybe I'll update after that but for a main dinner I dont think we will be back or make this one of our annual destination spots.

Had the half rack of baby back ribs. They were tender and cooked properly, although not quite "falling off the bone". The sauce was good but not exceptional. Wait staff was exceptional, attentively checking to see if we needed drink refills. Our food arrived blazingly fast even though the restaurant was fairly full. All in all, a solid four star experience.

Although we've been snow-birding to Havasu for about 10 years this was the first time we've ever visited ChaBones but it will not be our last. We went in after the Sunday flea market. It was busy but only had a very short wait for a table. My husband ordered the $3.99 burger and fries Swap Meet special. I ordered two tapas plates, the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and one other. The food was okay. We didn't have very high expectations based on the pricing of half price Tapas. The peanut sauce needed to be improved as it had way too much soy and very little peanut flavor which made it taste oversalty. The chicken was done through. The service was very good, the wait staff was johnny-on-the-spot. My husband likes lemons with his water and they came on the side for him which was interesting. My husband was so impressed with the decor and chatted with the hostess about it. She explained that everything was designed or personally made by the owner from the padding under the tables and on the ceiling to dampen the noise to the lighting and art on the walls. I thought the prices were alright on the dinner menu we looked at. Higher, but not excessive IMO. Most entrees were around the $25- $28 mark. We will go back for dinner next time we're in town :-)

waitress was extremely rude. I ask for steak sauce and the waitress told me nice restaurants like that dont have steak sauce. This place is ok for Arizona but i would not say it a 5star. I called to complain they told me they did have steak sauce. I dont think i come here ever again and i am in havasue all the time.

Best prime rib I have ever had hands down. Better than mortons, gullivers, and Flemings

The very first night we arrived in LHC (March 29th) I walked across London Bridge Road to bring some great food back to our motel. It was our first meal in what is now our new home. We knew their food was good. But after five days on the road from Portland, OR, it was one of the best meals ever. Thank you for the great service in spite of how busy it was that night.

Great place! The black eye prime rib was ridiculously amazing!!!! First time in Havasu and first time eating in a restaurant out here and it surpassed my expectations. We had the Justin Cabernet which was also great! My boyfriend got the back back ribs and he loved them, said one of the best he's ever had. Really impressed :) thank you! Btw- great service

We were recommended this place by some people we met today. Walking in, we thought it was an absolutely mbeautiful restaurant. Very very classy and very beautifully decorated. But we got this very weird vibe by the hostess, as if we were not good enough for the restaurant. She made us feel very uncomfortable. We thought about leaving. We waited, and it seemed like they sat other people before us that came in after us. We are finally seated. We then had the best experience. the food is absolutely 100% off the hook! Oh my god it is so so so so good! And don't forget desert, the have some killer desserts! And our waiter was totally awesome. We really love this restaurant, will definitely be coming back.

We had 7 in our group, called ahead for a table. Short wait for a Saturday night and this place was busy! We ordered appetizers and dinners. Everything was delicious as we all shared bites. Shrimp pasta Carbonara, Pizza, ribs, halibut and Mushroom raviolis. All was wonderful and yes, we will be back again!

While spending the weekend in Havasu, we decided to go out for a nice meal. We wanted steak & shrimp, so we went here. Man it was sooooo good we were not disappointed @ all. We called ahead & only waited 10 min for our table, ordered 3 rib-eyed steaks blackened w shrimp boy oh boy were they delicious, perfectly cooked, one of thee best steaks ever. Service was good, drinks were good, even the ambiance was good. Yes a little pricey but u get what u pay for, so I guess it was worth it. Definitely going back. Bomb.com

Every time we visit Havasu we eat here. The menu is diverse and they have a lot of selections. Our favorites are the vegetable tempura- surprisingly, a huge selection of battered veggies come on the is plate, and the small tapas appetizers they offer.

The finest dining in Havasu! Cha Bones has something to satisfy everyone! My favorite is to share a few of their Tapas with a martini and good company!

Every time my family and I are going to havasu lake for a vacation we go to this restaurant when it's happy hour! Best prices and amazing Tapas! Great service there! Normally we don't need to make a reservation.. But if you are coming in the summer I will recommend you to call and reserve.. Specially on happy hour

So I was visiting from Phoenix for work & so we went here for dinner with Charlene & Bill! They are regulars here. So we arrive & were told 49 minute wait for table. The girls no problem. Bill accommodated the wait. Of course, Happy Hour was on! So we must participate ... Right?! The Margarita was awesome! They had wine & beer. Me mas Margaritas please! Anywho, onto getting seated. It was only 20 minutes after we arrived. Yay us!!! Appetizers here we start! We ordered their Shrimp specialty & oysters with some creamy yummy ness added. Don't recall the name, but we should have ordered 2!!!! So for dinner I order Lamb, Charlene a mixed seafood # don't recall the name & Bill the Halibut. All meals were VERY tasty!!! Next time I return - oh there will be many more visits I assure you!!! I think I would enjoy just trying everything in the Tapas Starter menu!!!! As their website states, they have the best HAPPY in town / AZ! I highly agree!!! See you soon ( I hope)

From walking in and being greeted by the hostess feeling very welcomed. Our waiter Ashley was amazing she was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. When she described the dishes she did it with enthusiasm. Our meal was better than expected it was delicious. They held up to the yelp reviews. Thank you Ashley for making us excited to return on our next Havasu trip. The Black eye steak was amazing.

I ate here 3 years ago and never came back and now I know why. The baba ganoush was served with cold crouton like bread that wasn't enjoyable. The table bread was good but took literally 30 minutes to get and then our appetizers (chicken lettuce wraps and seared ahi) came out at 35 minutes after we ordered followed by our main corse at 37 minutes so no time to eat our app that we just waited 35 minutes for. All the food was hot so I could tell the servers brought it out right away but it seemed that the kitchen was just really slow. As for the cocktails at the bar... Why order top self vodka if it's all mixer anyway? We didn't order a second round. If you want a nice relaxing night out I'd skip this place because of the wait and noisy atmosphere.

I go to Cha Bones every time I'm in Havasu. I stopped in recently to get a boat from USA and had dinner with my husband at the bar. There was a special running for half price appetizers. Such a great deal! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very good establishment for Havasu. I love this place!

  • Joanne C.

This place is horrible. We waited 2 hours without getting a table. And we even made reservations. Ended up eating at the bar which still took forever. Don't get the shrimp and scallop lo mein. They drench it with teriyaki sauce, it's so sweet you can't even enjoy the food. Don't come here unless you want to wait and eat horrible food. I wanted to give it half a star but I'm forced to at least give it one star. And then the people next to us found plastic in their dessert. DONT COME HERE!!!

Ok so first off this may be the only decent semi posh environment created restaurant in Lake Havasu. Prices are ~50$ a head so they are demanding upper scale prices. It is a small pond, population wise i'm presuming and my experience may reflect that... Here goes... I called 2 times and was asked to call back after a 3 min wait... Understandable but disconcerting... Called back again a few hours later and had to wait another 5 min than gave my info for a reservation and made a point to say we have very old grandparents with us and repeated my name and phone just for good measure. When we arrived... no record of my reservation and I realized I was definitely talking to the person I made the reservation with... after a rather unnecessary plea by better half we they said they would seat us in maybe 30 min... Very unprofessional and awkward as they were not very understanding & were a bit defensive when we nicely explained that reservations had been made. So food & service: Waiter didn't ask us for drinks first but rather just jumped into what food we wanted so added drink to order and we went around the table again with drink orders. Long intervals between visits from our waiter and food did come about the same time as our food so we sat ~10 min... lame. -Steak was ok, mine was over cooked but I asked for medium so thats probably my mistake, Everyone else said they loved theirs. -The ribs were dry and light on meat, over cooked and too much fire. -Veggies were a bit bland but good. -Potato was too dry and they did not give enough sour cream or fixings... -We didn't try it but they apparently have Gluten free pizza, very progressive:) -- Last thing, train your Bar Tender my Old Fashioned was a slushy and my Manhattan was totally watered down... although bringing it to the table in the shaker to be decanted is a nice touch but don't let it sit too long as the ice melts. I hate writing hard reviews but I hope this helps.

Excellent place, higher end choice in a town that really does have much to offer on the culinary scale. Order several appetizers, shrimp creole was awesome as usual. Porterhouse steak was fantastic. Cannot go wrong with half price quality appetizers! Brad was our server, great service!

Stopped in Sunday, they serve all Tapas at 1/2 price from 11 to 6 and offer 1/2 price drink specials. Also offered Hamburger and Fries special for $3.99. The only shortcoming is that they were all out of Oysters when we arrived at noon. Will definitely try again. Ordered numerous tapas and was not disappointed. Our server Renee was very attentive and recommended items to try from the menu.

Cha bones is an amazing place to eat in havasu. It's an upscale restaurant but still has that casual havasu vibe. I decided to try the ahi tuna salad which I definitely recommend- so fresh with tons of ahi! My friend got the clam/mussels appetizer in marinara sauce which was huge for an appetizer portion and delicious as well. I would definitely come back. Had the creme brûlée for dessert which was great too.

My parents have been here a few times and told us it was good for happy hour, so we decided to try it for dinner. I am so glad we did! The interior is really nice - modern and funky. It's a bit cramped in certain areas, but you only notice when the place is jam packed. I wish there were more booths, but that'd mean even less space. My husband and I ordered the 14 oz. ribeye "Black Eye" style. Normally, the Black Eye is prime rib with 3 shrimp and a Cajun cream sauce. While prime rib is good, we prefer ribeye since it always seems way juicier. This was a fantastic choice! We also mentioned that we'd be splitting the meal, so our waiter brought out two places - each with half a ribeye, half a potato, and shrimp/vegetables. It was perfect - the portion and presentation. My parents ordered a ribeye and requested to split as well. Same perfect presentation. We loved this. The waiter and service were amazing and really sealed the deal. The food was awesome as well. Our ribeye was tender, juicy, and the Cajun cream sauce made it even better. We definitely have to come back. I know what we'll be ordering again! For dessert, we ordered a "Bombay" - which is a chocolate dome with mousse inside. My father ordered a coffee and said he's had better - but he says that about every place. He really liked the dessert though. He liked it so much that when a waitress came to grab the plate he said, "You better not touch that plate or I'll break your arm!" We were so shocked my father said this and couldn't stop laughing. It was even worse because the girl avoided us for the rest of the night. Finally, my father grabbed the girl (by her arm) and apologized for his joke. She said it was fine and she "gets it all the time". We'll definitely be back, but we might have to keep dad at home...

Cha - Bones is one of my fave places ! We come here often in the summer and look forward to their Tuesday crab / lobster dinners. I have tried many items on their menu and some of my top picks include the clams (steamers), prime rib and blackened halibut. They recently changed their menu and decided to try the ostrich. This meal was one of the tastier meals and I was happily surprised at how much I liked it. Service is great, especially if you sit at one of Nate's tables. Cha - Bones makes me do the happy dance.

  • Jacqui M.

Cha bones has nice ambiance, but the service and food leaves something to be desired. We had a porterhouse that was cooked perfectly and a filet that was over done. They ran out of 'the chefs special potatoes' so substituted with seasoned instant potatoes without warning us. Our server tried to make it up to us by bringing us French fries but for what we paid for our meals it was very disappointing. Also she brought our wine that we ordered for our meals after the meals arrived. Our appetizer and dessert were good, but the dessert wasn't what I expect for a restaurant if this caliber and the appetizer was literally thrown onto our table by a server while he was serving another table.

  • Laura T.

Great atmosphere and ambiance! I come to LHC a few times a year for work. The decor creates a warm fireplace kind of feel in here....inviting for 1 at the bar or more at tables. The service was very good and the food was tasty. By far, this was the best place in town for dinner. Two of us had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer, had drinks and split the shrimp and scallop lo mein. The only thing was the lettuce wraps had the same sauce that was in the lo mein (which uses fettuccine noodles). Will definitely be back again!

Went to lunch and ordered the Philly cheesesteak and my girlfriend ordered the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was cold and no flavor. The service was very slow and they forgot our appetizer. The only thing good was the iced tea. Will not be dining there again.

  • Aras Y.

Decor and food were OK, the service was good, and the baba gnosh was great. I had the BBQ ribs, chef's potato, and fresh veggies. The BBQ sauce was acidic but the meat was fork tender. The veggies were way over cooked and the potato was still crunchy and not seasoned at all. My husband's steak was well seasoned and very tender. The server was pleasant and kept our drinks filled. For $52 I wouldn't go back.

Love this Restaurant! Every time I eat there I am never disappointed. From the drinks to the food everything is amazing. My favorite meal is the "Big Black Eye". ( Blackened prime rib with shrimp and Cajun sauce on top). The staff truly cares about a its customers and it shows.

Because my family & I have been vacationing in Lake Havasu for decades, we are on a constant search for food that will keep us coming back for years to come. Finally happy to say that Cha-Bones has exceeded our expectations. After reading the reviews on yelp prior, I expected the food/service/environment to be "alright". Being that we've had our fair share of excellent & sub par restaurants, it's safe to say my standards are rather high. Upon arriving, we couldn't help but notice the plethora of cars surrounding the quaint looking building. Trying to not get ahead of ourselves, we started through the doors & were immediately hit with the beautiful scent of steak. Aside from the sweet scent in the air, the decor was rather elegant & yet comfortable. Upon taking our seats, we were greeted by a very personable server who tempted us with the seared salmon & twin petite filet mignon steaks with a petite lobster tail in (some special sort) of mushroom sauce. After ordering & receiving our stuffed shrooms, mussels, & shrimp, we were pleasantly surprised as to how delicious each plate was. It's safe to say they all went down pretty quickly. We each ordered our plates, one chicken Parmesan pasta, two orders of the special petite filet mignons & lobster tail, an order of their baby back ribs, & the seated salmon special. After drinking down our white Zinfandel, Swashbuckler (which was absolutely delicious might I add!), & piña coladas, our food began to arrive. Eager to dig in, we each took a bite & immediately started sharing our plates with one another. Having sampled everything at the table, we were surprised to proclaim that everything had certainly exceeded our expectations. After finishing up another drink, we ordered two deserts, one of which was a chocolate cake (something with all sorts of chocolate & ganache like filing which was covered in a shell of chocolate), and the pineapple cake with coconut sauce. They were both absolutely delicious & were the perfect cherry on top of an excellent dinner. Cha-Bones will certainly be at the top of the list the next time we vacation in Lake Havasu. Thanks ladies & gents at Cha-Bones, your service, friendliness, & food are definitely top notch!!

Lived in Havasu for 10 years and finally had to try this restarant off of a referral from a friend. Trying to make it quick, we grabed a seat at the bar. Great food, great service and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend every to try it out.

During happy hour all tapas are 1/2 price with discounted drinks. Everything we tried was excellent: Seared Ahi Ahi Poki Calamari Chicken Satay Fish skewers (Ichiban) My husband also ordered the prime Rib Beef Dip which was very good as well.

Great tapas and happy hour specials. The Cajun shrimp is amazing, you could drink the sauce. The baby bones of lamb is super tender. Very chic, very upscale menu at a not so upscale price. I recommend this place for a great evening out, great date spot.

Cha Bones is the shining star of Havasu City. I look forward to my business trips because I know Cha Bones is there! Tony (chef) makes the most perfectly cooked and delicious salmon I have ever had. Wine selection is wonderful. Ambiance is relaxing. Can't wait to go back!

We went here for dinner on Friday afternoon. We got there about 3:30 p.m. to find out dinner is not served until 4:00 p.m. We almost decided to finish our drinks and go somewhere else for dinner when the waiter said no problem we could order early. We were happily surprised on how delicious and inexpensive our happy hour drinks were. The food was also delicious. I had the chicken special served with delicious veggies and loaded mashed potatoes. I hope I can have it again it was so good. My husband had the ribeye steak, veggies and baked potatoes. He said it was also delicious. I will definitely be eating here again, maybe for my Hubby's birthday. I would like to come for happy hour and have a selection of Tapas and mixed drinks. This restaurant had the best tasting food I've had since moving to LHC. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good and delicious meal and drinks.

Went in for happy hour and everything was ok. Ordered tempura vegetables, stuffed mushrooms, and some beef skewers. Everything was decent and half-price. I don't know if I'd go back outside of happy hour as it looked really expensive otherwise.

We just got into town, did a quick yelp search and found this place had a happy hour 3-6. I wanted to nap but my wife was pushing to take advantage of the happy hour, what a good call. We got there and ate at the bar, starting with some cocktails, margarita was decent and Bloody Mary was good nice and spicy. We ordered the shrimp creole for an appetizer at half off normal price. Man, we were loving it! 8 Shrimp in a creamy Cajun spice sauce that was thunderous! With ciabatta toast to sop up mo sauce! You must have it. Then did the black eye prime rib, outstanding...and they add 3 shrimp with some of that creamy Cajun sauce on top. Fantastic! We finished strong with a surprise on the dessert menu, not even the staff had tried! Cinnamon roll bread pudding...it's as good as it sounds! Phenomenal first night in Havasu, thank you Cha-bones!!! Only cons - it is pricy, the prime rib was $40, we split a plate and there was a $8 charge, you drink a lot you pay a lot (nothing new but it always hurts when you pay the bill) Definitely worth checking out, especially during happy hour!

BEST FOOD IN HAVASU! Hubby and I have been here twice, and have yet to be disappointed. Happy hour is the time to go. Half off appetizers (tapas), margaritas, and well drinks is a great price. We had their Tempura veggies, Stuffed mushrooms, Ahi Poke, Baby filet minon, and the Cajon Shrimp. All were fantastic!! Service was great too. P.S: Server Chris B. is nice eye candy.

Great food and great service but I must make a comment about Melissa at the front... We walked in to "Do you have reservations?" It's Havasu so "No, I don't." "Well it will be an hour and a half to 2 hours." Are you kidding me? Then Gina cam to the front and all of a sudden we were going to be seated. Melissa seemed perturbed. It was very weird!!!! We will be back but hopefully dealing with Gina instead.

Happened to stop by Cha-Bones this weekend and boy am I glad we stopped. We have been going to Havasu for years and have never been. It happened to be all day Happy Hour on Sunday when we arrived. I had the lettuce wrap and my husband had shrimp and we tried the chicken satay as well. Let me tell you, in my opinion this is the best food in Havasu. The service was amazing! Unfortunately I don't remember the bartenders name (short hair and glasses) but she was amazing. The only downfall is that they have no local beer or any beer on tap. Selection of beer was limited which is the only reason this isn't a 5 star. We will for sure be back!

We have been coming here since they opened and have not had a bad meal yet! Service has been great and on the weekends they have live music! We love the updated décor and the bar is super nice as well.

Sadly our dinner was not good last night. :( I always look forward to coming here when we come to Lake Havasu --- but not anymore. We were in a party of 10 and we sat without drinks for the longest time. Our appetizers came and still no drinks. :( The server never seemed to catch up. Our dinner came, and it was ice cold. To top it off the quality of the food was terrible. They served strange Julianne carrots as the side. ugh. I did not even try to eat them. I am not sure what happened last night, but everything to be so backwards. But, I hope they can get their groove back....

A diamond in the rough. I have not been to a lot of great restaurants in the Laughlin area, but I was really impressed with this one. The decor is nice, the establishment was clean, the staff was service-oriented, the menu had a lot of choices and the food was really good. The scallop and shrimp noodle dish was spicy and flavourful and the honey glazed salmon was sweet, but not overly so. If you find yourself in the area, I would definitely recommend it.

Okay, so let me start by saying that Cha Bones has an incredible Happy Hour and great lunch. If I was rating on that alone, I'd give it 5 stars. What brought my review down to 3 stars was the dinner. Just finished eating there and thoroughly disappointed. First off, the dinner menu is completely different from the lunch menu. I don't know about you but sometimes I do enjoy a sandwich or burger for dinner. Too bad for me because there's not one burger or sandwich on that dinner menu. Okay, whatever. I'll try one of your dinner specials. Chicken Saltimboca is what I ordered. This "dinner special" is 20 bucks and doesn't even come with a soup or salad. Irritating.... Hubby got ribs, mehhhhhh. So, 100 bucks later and not satisfied. Like I said, lunch is bomb, happy hour is bomb, dinner blech..... If you want a delicious dinner that comes with soup or salad for less money, go to Shugrues.

I came here to visit with my ma and everyone recommended us to eat dinner during the happy hour specials at Cha Bones. We ordered the crispy asparagus sticks and chicken fingers. They were both delicious. I saw lamb chops and seared ahi tuna come out that looked amazing. I wish I would've ordered it. All the appetizers were 1/2 off. I got a blended margarita and my mom get a tall Captain Coke. The bartender was very nice, but tended more to the locals. The ambiance was modern. We met some friendly people at the bar who were helping us with what to do that night. Overall, we had a great experience here. If I come visit Lake Havasu, I will stop and eat at Cha Bones!

Fantastic food, atmosphere, welcoming to our children, and great selection. We were seated right away. The food was excellent, we had the fresh fish "Sea bass" the famous Rib eye with the Cajun sauce, salads and the kids ate the pizza. The deserts were beautiful, diverse and excellent size. Not too much at all! The prices are also just right. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday!

Way over priced for the loud dinner atmosphere. A dimmed down diner feel to the place. And, they included an 18% gratuity. Food was good but not worth the $.

Hands down, best steak I have had in Havasu. There was a wait of 30 minutes when we got there at 4:30, we were seated within 15 minutes. Our water was there before we actually sat down. Waiter showed up immediately to get out drink orders. So far so good. My husband got one of the specials of the day, the stuffed soul. It was fantastic! I went with the Rib eye, done to perfection and the chef's potato's were wonderful, the Julianne carrots were done simply and again perfection. Never waited too long for anything. The serving staff above reproach, can't wait to go back!

It gets a four star, for location. Havasue is s tough place for a restaurant. The food is good+++ and the service is fun. LH is are part time home for the 11 years. This place is always a must when we our in town. Friends who come with us always enjoy the experience. Shrimp, pork cops and filet are great. Good Dining.

We went there twice. The first time, we had pretty good service, the food was good but the restaurant was really loud. This was late on a Sunday night. We decided to try it again on Friday night - a little earlier. We made a reservation but when we arrived on time, there was nobody at the door for at least 5 mins. Once the "hostess" finally arrived, she told us our table wasn't ready and asked us if we wanted to eat at the bar instead. We decided to just have a drink and wait for our table. We ordered 2 martinis and the second they were served, the hostess told us to grab our drinks and follow her because our table was ready. We chugged our drinks so they didn't spill as we were running to our table. The restaurant was very still very loud and the service had slowed considerably from the previous sunday night. We ordered their fish special and a steak. The fish was probably the worst dish I have eaten since moving to Havasu 9 years ago (and I usually eat just about anything and like it). The steak was ordered medium well but was served extra rare. I think they had the fish already prepared so they threw the steak on the grill for 2 mins. By that time, we were irritated and didn't bother to send anything back. We just cut our losses and decided to never go back. It was a typical Havasu experience at triple the Havasu price. I guess we should have just gone there for happy hour like everyone else.

Quite possibly the best baby back ribs I've ever had. Its been a couple weeks since I've been, and I still rave about the ribs to friends. I was also talked into ordering the happy hour martini (I rarely drink martinis, I really just wanted draft beer)-- it was really tasty. I came thinking the food and drinks would be mediocre, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent as well. My server was friendly, attentive, and even mixed my martini at the table. He was also helpful on things to do while staying in Lake Havasu. If I ever return to Lake Havasu, I'm going back to ChaBones.

Stopped in during happy hour this week, and wasn't as happy as usual. They charge an extra $1 for a tall cocktail, plus an extra $1 for juice, making a happy hour drink $4.50 instead of $2.50. Not a big problem - until I paid for 2 cocktails with a bunch of change and a $5 bill. I gave the bartender (Karen) $6 in quarters - after asking if she minded the change (she said she needed the quarters) - and $.89, along with the $5 bill - paying the exact amount plus a $2 tip. She came back and threw the change tray onto the bar in front of me, scattering the small change (pennies, dimes) stating "you gave me too much." I told her there should have been a $2 tip, and she said I was wrong. Not a great way to be treated! If I go back, I will definitely not want her to help me again.

Great service as always! Great food as always! But since going there last year I had to become gluten free and one of the first places I wanted to contact to find out if I can still eat there safely was Cha Bones. They were more then friendly over the phone. When we arrived we had Ashley as are server and she was very informative and helpful! Made my dinner out stress free. Happy to know when we are out in Havasu I can still eat at my favorite place!

Definitely the best food in Lake Havasu and the atmosphere is awesome. The servers are always friendly and attentive to your needs. The food is wonderful, never a issue with anything I have eaten there. Would totally recommend to everyone...

Well we went back here for a Bday dinner! Different hostess, much much better! Great food, and dinner. The waitress was in a hurry, but no biggie, I must say the busboys, if you call them that, since they do so much more, were very polite and all over it, the waitress was no where to be found. To clarify, the brunette hostess is the problem not the blonde for whom we had tonight! We were walking to Cha Bones for dinner and were flipping coins on who had to deal with the rude brunette hostess, we were both relieved when she wasn't there!!! Love it!

More like 3.5 stars, but I didn't want to round up. The restaurant itself was very appealing inside, like another reviewer said, it was like the restaurant is from Las Vegas. The wait took a little while even though we had reservations. Once food was ordered the time to get the food on the table took a little longer than it should have. The waiter was attentive and came by often with soda refills. Ordered the Big Black Eye and was impressed with the size. The prime rib was a nice 22 oz. size. It was a good prime rib but I've had better. Tried the ribs too and they were really good. Next time I'd just get ribs. A good place to eat at once in awhile for special occasions.

In town for for business and stopped by the restaurant due to its 4 star rating. Food was not to bad but then at the end of the meal a cockroach crawled out of the kitchen. The manager says to me "oh its Arizona, they are everywhere here" then tried to tell me it walked in through the front door. The 4 of us clearly watched the cockroach crawl out from under the kitchen door. Horrible customer service after we told them about the cockroach. We travel almost every day, and this was by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in years.

We have been here a number of times so decided to have our anniversary dinner there. There was no one at the front so after waiting a few minutes, my husband started to go get a person from the bar area to get seated (I just had surgery and have a very visible boot on my foot). Just then the hostess comes out of the bathroom and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We told her we were there for dinner and again she tried to put us in the bar. She finally led us to a table oblivious of the fact that I can't walk very fast. Our waitress was great. We got a bottle of wine and seared ahi appetizer. It was a bit salty for me. Then hard crackers and baba ganoush which was bland and garlicky. I order apple curry chicken with rice. What is served to me looks like soup with lots of apples in it but couldn't find any chicken. The waitress took it back and I finally got it about when my husband finished his meal. (He liked his pork chops - I thought they were salty). This time I had more like what I was expecting but way more apple than chicken and it was just ok. They brought us a piece of cheesecake after. But I doubt I will go back. The food doesn't justify the prices.

Easy 5 stars! I have had a lot of steaks and this (medium rare) t-bone was in top 3 of all time. Cooked to prefection and simply amazing. Huge bar, modern atmosphere, good beer menu, attentive server, and not a single gripe. I see some Yelpers complain about the price, but this is what a good steak cost. Tip... download the restaurant.com coupon to save a few bucks. No question that I will be back on my next trip to Havasu.

Definitely the best rib eye steak I've ever had, the salad and sides were wonderful too. My husband and I went there close to the end of our vacation and were sorry we hadn't gone sooner as we would've gone twice. I would recommend Cha Bones to anyone - it is a great place - great service and food. You won't be disappointed!

Cha-Bones, how you've made my weekend! We came for dinner on Friday night and everything was perfect! The décor could rival any venue in Los Angeles, with their very unique water features and modern design. The service was very friendly and efficient. Their cocktails are stiff. And the food was spectacular! I got the ribeye medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Every morsel had the right amount of juice, fat, and meat. I'm drooling right now just thinking about it! At around $30 a plate, I better be drooling! Can't wait to come back on my next trip!!

This place has great service! The bartenders do an outstanding job - Great Drinks! Just wish they would advertise the daily specials more. I just went in on a Saturday and found out about the $1 tacos which are really great! I never knew about them, it wasn't even posted anywhere either, I found out about the specials by accident.... so i wonder how does one find out about the specials they have??? I want to know the secret hiding spot for the specials they do. I love this place, it's always clean, fun, upbeat, classy... thank you for being in Havasu!!! I hope someday to find out where you hide your listing of weekly/daily specials.

This was my second time here, & I have to say I'm quite disappointed in the service and the manager/ owner if that in fact is what she was. Sat there for about an hour waiting for food. A table that sat after us received there drink from the bar before me, two tables that were seated after us received food orders and were done eating before even getting our food. Then it was cold. Asked for manager she took at least 10 min to come see what problem was. One of our plates was sent back when 2nd plate came out hamberger wasnt even cooked well done was raw. Waitress didn't know what she was doing or what prices were. Manager didn't offer any solution to our complaints just said what do you want me to do and walked away. Came back said we had different waiter one of us said something else she said get out then said you all can get out. What the hell. Never in my life and I'm 40 have I ever been thrown out off a resturaunt for anything, but for complaining that was rediculous. Dont think we will ever go back. Another table was shocked at the behavior of this manager/ owner.

Pretty much the nicest place to eat in Havasu City. They take a lot of pride in their menu and it shows. I have tried a bunch of their tapas (Happy Hour prices are 1/2 off!) and i have enjoyed them all. Sandwiches and burgers are great too. It really is strange to see something this nice in this city. I stop by here every time I'm at the lake.

I've returned several times since I first wrote this review and, aside from a single mis-step (which I will not detail because it was handled so expertly and with uncommon graciousness), it remains the most flawless restaurant in Lake Havasu. The menue is awesome, the attention to detail shows in everything they do. An outstanding experience in every way. I wavered a bit over the star rating, if you look over my other reviews, you'll quickly find that I am a fairly unforgiving reviewer. It's tough for me to assign five stars to any establishment. My feeling is that, in the not to distant future, I may well award my first ever perfect rating to Cha Bones.

Came into Havasu for a business meeting and yelp told us this place was good. Ordered a ribeye steak, , it wasn't bad until the end of our meal when a cocoroach came strolling out of the kitchen. Manager said this was normal for Havasu because of the palm trees. This is unacceptable, especially coming from a supposed 4 star restaurant. Disgusting

Very awesome meal and drinks. Had Mahi, wow, awesome. Mojito was very good too. Service was fast and yet not so pushy, just perfect. It's tastful decor seem very preasant. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting the area like me.

We went there for my son's 13th birthday. It was sort of impromptu- we were in Havasu for his birthday and wanted to take him someplace nice for dinner. We couldn't have picked a better place. The service was great and the food was excellent. My son said the steak he had was the best he had ever had, and after tasting it, I had to agree. It was amazing. All our food was very good, and the waiter brought him a chocolate mousse as a free birthday dessert that was out of this world. It was a perfect end to our day and his birthday, and we are all looking forward to going back.

I have dine here numerous times and have never been disappointed. Very modern interior. Love the indoors waterfalls. Service has always been top notch. Probably one of Havasu best restaurant. From Steak to Prime Rib to Pasta to Chopino you won't be disappointed.

    (5)
  • Steve R.

Not impressed. Sirloin was very chewy, not tender at all. Carrots undercooked. My wife's pasta sauce was like soup and was way too sweet. Dessert was obviously brought in frozen, and it was not even fully defrosted when we got it. I do not recommend.

  • Scott F.

Two is kind of generous. Painfully overcooked steaks (look at other reviews and you will see that this place clearly has a very inattentive kitchen) is a staple here. I have been a couple of times and whenever I order a steak they overdo it. Last time here, the idiot waiter dripped a cocktail all across the table and then onto my leg. The menu is ambitious but the execution is poor. I suggest passing. Not that there is a lot of great places in Havasu. I come a few times a year for business and this is one of my least favorites to end up at.

  • Mabel Y.

Very very noisy. Both from people and from the live band. No carpet, ceiling tiles, wall coverings, or anything that can help reduce noise. Hard to carry out a conversation with all the noise. Prime rib is very good, and very generously portioned. Even the baby cut is big enough for two of us. Steamers are very good.

  • Rob W.

Fine Dining Havasu style. Best place probably if you want to spoil someone a little. Although the prices aren't really what I would call high, very reasonable I'd say. I've been here for lunch and dinner both. Always good food and service. Very modern and up to date decor. It's very small inside and there aren't any booths, maybe a bummer for some. I think everything else makes up for it though.

    (5)
  • Kristen B.

Right off the bat I was kind of questioning this place, but really wanted to try it. They didn't have ANY prime rib so I had to get a ribeye. It had ssoo much fat on it that I couldn't even eat half of it. Even my boyfriend was surprised that a restaurant that apparently has pride in their meals, going by the prices, would present such a plate to a customer. We didn't even have drinks, other than soda and water, and the tab was a little over $80. Needless to say, my belly didn't feel like we got even $10 worth of food in it after cutting away all of the fat. I may try this place again, just giving them the benefit of doubt. Maybe the second try will be better.

  • Alex M.

Decent food. The chicken on my wife's salad was under cooked. She sent it back. Everything else was good. Not great. Walk in without a reservation on a weekend night, and you can forget it. The dining area is rather small. Seems they opted for a long bar, taking floor space away from the dining area. Noticed a lot of people eating dinner at the bar.

Tops in Havasu. We have tried most every good spot here and this is one of the best. Open for 7 years, this out of the way, fairly nondescript, box of a restautant delivers. great bar, lots of menu options, sharing many "tapas" is a good idea.

I go to Lake Havasu once a year on business. The first time I went to this restaurant I had a very good meal. The next year when I went back (this was in February) I had a terrible experience. I ordered a stuffed chicken dish and it was sour. It tasted like it was on the way to being spoiled and I only ate about 5 bites. When I told the waitress she was not at all interested and really didn't seem to even believe me when I told her that the food tasted sour. She still charged me for my meal and I don't believe I would ever go back.

Havasu's first fine dining restaurant at an amazingly great price! I'm from Orange County and speak from local experience. Our meals were great and the ambiance was relaxing. The outside looks deceiving in that you may think you need to dress up for the this desert oasis. But feel comfortable wearing dressed up casual wear. Service was equally satisfying and not pushy. The decor was nice, but not extravagant. You can't be too picky in a town where people think "Krystals" is fine dining! So for those of you who are picking on the place, remember where you are. This is not a major city and be happy that someone brought their vision to satisfy you to the plate. Kudos to the owner for investing in LHC.

Went here for valentine's day. Feat decor, yummy martinis, wait staff polite. Ordered the steak medium rare and it came out over cooked. It was so tough I couldn't cut it with my knife. Not to mention I exchanged my knife 2X, and both were dull. The other courses were great. Just don't order the steak

I have been here for dinner 4 or 5 times. Like the other reviewers mentioned I had a tough steak here one time. I was disappointed. We ate here again last weekend and I had the BBQ baby back ribs, $20. I liked them, a lot. The sauce was pretty tangy which I like OK, kind of vinegary like St Louis type sauce. My wife didn't like the sauce but she is more particular than I am, I have had very few ribs I didn't like. They were executed perfectly and the meat was falling off the bones. Excellent. She had the Salmon, $17.99 I think, and it was excellent. She raved about it. The dinner came with vegetables, kind of a stir fry type mixed veg with onions and some peppers and that was great. Both dinners were served with choice of potato or rice. The only thing is salad is ala carte so not included, and I thought it was a little pricey so I didn't order any. At their prices they should serve a small salad IMO. The drinks as usual are stunningly good. I recommend martinis of any kind, their specialty. Our waitress mentioned a Sunday $3.99 hamburger and fries special so we came in for that. It was good. Not great, kind of overcooked, but certainly worth the price. The place was packed with people enjoying the half price Tapas and drinks. Nice decor and environment too. View of the lake from the dining room during the day. Nice place and good service. We'll be back next time we're in town.

wonderful decor with great details. took pictures for ideas in our new house. We liked the decor that much. we went for lunch and had build your own burgers. The burgers were cooked perfectly. The "spicy aoli" could use more spice and flavor. it was ok. The burgers come with home made chips. If I could fall into a vat of these chips and draw my last breath....I'd die a happy man. The chips are wonderful. Service was pleasant, though the waiter couldn't tell us what kind of cheddar was used (medium/sharp/extra sharp) he didn't understand about sharpness. but he was young. The pizzas looked great, but I couldn't get any of the patrons to offer me slice. I tried the "big lip", licking my lips while staring at their pizza. Nothing worked. The pizza must be good. Next time through town, we'll have dinner here.

the decor here is stunning. easily the best interior in town- but don't be intimidated by their fanciness - this is still lake havasu after all - plenty of customers dine in shorts, tanktops and flip-flops. waitstaff is super friendly. drinks are yummy, as is most of their food - my favorite is the "black eye" prime rib. it's served with a creamy cajon sauce, and topped with 3 jumbo shrimp. (not specified on the menu, but you can get any of their steaks "black eye" style, for an extra couple bucks). it's hard to go wrong with whatever seafood dish they have on special for a "steak restaurant", the chefs here are not always on top of their game cooking their steaks. i like my meat rare, as in red center. sadly, i've returned my steak more than once when it arrived with a thin, barely pink center. i've since learned and just refrain from ordering steak.

We went to this restaurant because it provided an opportunity to say "cha bones!" a lot. There is debate around town about pronounciation, but either way it's funny and fun to say. Food was fine. Some picky/snotty notes: 1) "Babaganoush" was tasty but we suspect not babaganoush. Perhaps was a deliciously garlicy sour cream dip. 2) "Tapas" were really appetizers--eg chicken fingers. However the waiter was sweet about splitting our dishes and the atmosphere was quite fun. All in all a lovely place for dinner.

Great appetizers, tasty drinks - incredible atmosphere and decor. It's really one of the best looking restaurants around. The bar is beautiful, the rock, waterfalls, it all looks fantastic. Very well done. Garlic Crusted Chicken is my favorite meal - but the Chicken Fingers appetizer is the most tender I've ever had anywhere.

When we are in Havasu, we usually go to Shugrue's (YUM - Shrimp Saganaki!!) but that is another review. We decided to try Cha-Bones. We have eaten here in the past and quite frankly I don't remember why we don't go here more. Modern interior, BEAUTIFUL bar, friendly and way competent service and delicious food. After spending some time at the bar we progressed to dinner in the dining room which is not much on ambiance but more than makes up for it with the food and service. We decided it was a prime rib night so he got large cut of prime rib and I ordered the Black Eye - prime rib with shrimp and cajun cream sauce. Delivered exactly as ordered and wonderful. If I had a complaint it would be that the cajun cream sauce could have been spicier (but I like things really HOT). Wonderful dining experience from start to finish and I highly recommend you give them a try. Prices are really reasonable as well.

Pretty yummy food. I always get the Blue Wedge. This place probably is the closest attempt at upscale dining anywhere in Lake Havasu. I have not had a bad experience here. But sometimes it's annoying when they have a wait. You should try it. I recommend it. I only give 5 stars to my favorites, this place gets 4 because they have great food.

This is by far the best restaurant in Havasu! I highly recommend the Black Eye. It is huge and the best steak I have had in a while. The service was great and the decor is cool.
